Week 4: Claymation

Have you ever watched movies like Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run? Well, that is something that we are going to do today! Claymation is a form of animation using stop-motion techniques using either lumps of clay or clay models!

To do claymation, you are going to need:

• Clay
• A camera

Step 1:
Use the clay to make a clay model.

Step 2:
Place your clay model in front of the camera.

Step 3:
Take a picture.

Step 4:
Move your model while still having it in front of the camera.

Step 5:
Take another picture. Now repeat the process as as many times as you like.

Step 6:
Edit the pictures together and watch the magic.
