Week 7: Character Animation
Now we get to animate our character! If you still have the character design that you did before, it will be extremely helpful for this project!
The materials that you will need are:
- Animation paper
- Animation peg bar
- Pencil
- Lightbox
- Masking tape
- Scanner or camera
Step 1:
Turn on the light box.
Step 2:
Tape down the animation peg with the masking tape.
Step 3:
Place a couple pieces of the animation paper into the grooves on the animation peg.
Step 4:
Draw your character in different poses on each paper. The light from the light box will help you see your previous drawing.
Step 5:
When you are done, either scan or take a picture of each drawing and edit them together.
